A Cozy Lodge in the Heart of the Green Mountains

Story

A short distance from both Pico Mountain and Killington Ski Resorts, winter is the perfect time to visit and experience not only skiing and snowboarding, but also snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. After a long day spent in the great outdoors, return to our lodge for a delicious meal or drink in our restaurant before retiring to one of our 40 tastefully appointed guestrooms, some with fireplaces. With hiking, fishing, kayaking,and biking, guests can enjoy year-round fun here. But if a quiet day spent on property is more appealing, a dip in our hot tub - or pool in season - a relaxing stint in our saunas, or a fun time in our game room are all available to you. Whatever your pleasure, the Mendon Mountainview Lodge is here to satisfy it!

Very convenient location. The rooms were very clean with plenty of room. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of commission for the time being, but there was a brand new sauna. Lots of space in the game room(s) with plenty of games. Pretty good TV and a nice selection of books. Very friendly staff and a really good breakfast. Really good travel time to the two local mountains.

Very conviently located hotel, close to fantastic winter sport locations as well as year round attractions. Clean clean clean. If you like to feel pampered and cared for by a multi talented staff that is concerned for your comfort, this is the place for you. A personal touch. A feeling of community. Not your usual corporate run hotel. We will be back. Fred

This is a cozy hotel with very welcoming owners. They offer a sit-down breakfast for $10 that is decent. The hot tub was broken when we stayed there, so I cannot review that. 😕 They do have a lounge that has foosball, shuffleboard, some games, and a TV. There is a bar upstairs but I didn't see anyone using it. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms have powerful heatlamps, which was nice. It's a little bit hard to spot the parking lot if it's on your left, so be sure to keep a close eye out for it. They have a small lot in the front, but a large lot in the back.

The staff at this place were not welcoming or nice. The room and beds were okay, but the walls are paper thin so having a conversation at 8pm is not permitted or else the staff will tell you you will be kicked out of the lodge .... It's located in the middle of nowhere so getting to the ski resort was a mission. Loved Killington and my trip was amazing with the exception of this 'lodge'. The sauna, pool and hot tub were ALL out of service for 3 days straight. Rant over.

Generally okay, comfortable beds, fair access to restaurants, decent check-in experience. Biggest annoyance, though, is the walls are paper thin (or the TV). You can easily hear your neighbor's conversations. So 5 stars if you have no neighbors, 3 stars otherwise.
