Love this place but they are rip off con artists. i.e. those who have rented here for several years get ripped off, as rent keeps going up each year. For example: We have lived in the building 14 years and rent began at $2,025 monthly and now they are asking $3,025 per month; whereas, same units in the building are offered to new tenants at $2,500 or so. and their second year would be $2,575 and 3rd $2,625 and so on. Answer from leasing rep = "rent goes up by % for each tenant each year"... and that "they have to be competitive with market to gain new tenants". Ding Dong! Awe snap! You would not have so much turnover if you didn't out-price those who want to stay. And the best response from leasing rep "you could move into one of the open identical units for the lower rate" ($600 lower per month).... but we would have to change our address, move out of one unit, "apply" and have credit run and application fee, etc for the new unit. Do they not understand that this is a lose-lose situation? i.e. they have to pay to have both units cleaned, painted, inspected and shown to re-rent... all the hassle... same with us and all the hassle of moving and address change, etc. You would think that those who rented here longer would have better rental rates then those who are new or here for first/second year, etc. But instead, all those who sign year-to-year lease renewals have their rates increased again and again; whereas, rates are lowered to attract new tenants... creating this upside down dilemma. Common sense, I think not.

The did no maintenance. They kept a record of all that is broken and charged me when I moved out for everything they had failed to prepare. My apartment was robbed. The police when taking the report says it happens all the time. People are often waved in, or claim to be handing out delivery flyers. There were delivery flyers at the door every week, meaning there is not building security. They tow the tenants if you park "over the line", in my case meaning my small PT Cruiser had touched the inside of the paint of the line. Who judges if you are over the line'? The towing company! And you have no appeal, it is $115 a pop. So basically they have sold the right to steal and damage your greatest asset for a kickback from the towing company. The practices of the management are predatory. You will be towed. Your guests will be towed. And the towing place personnel are foul-mouthed and ill-mannered. Truly this is a place to avoid. The location is good, but believe me it is worth walking past this place to the subway ten times a day to avoid it.

I lived here for a year while in college. Amazing place to live, especially if you are in a one bedroom as you get an extra room (sunroom) I used it for an office and extra bedroom when a friend needed a place to stay for the summer. Pool on the top floor, great gym that they redid while I was there, very nice look, great space. The concierge is not always there so if you are expecting something make sure you ask them, parking garage is large however large pilars make the spaces very small, you can have family stay at the apartment complex as they have rooms that serve as "hotel" style. Great location, close to metro, mall, and lots of restaurants! Loved living here.
