I recently was hit by a drunk driver and she totaled my new 2017 car in a matter of seconds! I needed her insurance to put me in a rental ASAP but needed to prove that she was the cause of the accident. I ordered the police report and it was ready the next day! The people working here were very helpful and friendly. The police arrived on the scene, dispatched an ambulance for the injured and made the situation safe and helped calm me down. The handled the arrest of the aggressor with integrity and called for someone to pick up the two young children she had in the backseat. I am thankful for the Meridian police department for being professional, quick, and detailed! Thanks, MPD!!

On january 4th 10ish in the evening two officers assisted in a welfare check on a family member. It was a difficult situation. Both men were professional but not inhuman. They acted with discernment, grace, and consideration. I did not get names. They were the angels our family needed that needed. Good hire and great representation of your department. From an old crook its praise hard sought. Thank you so much mpd. Good form.

The only reason why I'm giving you guys even a one-star i delt with 10+ cops that I have talked to in the past week with two different incidents. only 1.5 seem to understand that abuse is not OK no matter what disability/race/age the child has. I will be filing/reporting for discriminations charger against the police deartment. Y'all need more training in the mental health section you don't know anything about PTSD or Autism I'm not stating my son an angel but those two incidents in two different places, those care providers have no right to put their hands on my child Advance Therapy Care provider left a mark and y'all took a picture of it. Sami hurt him so of course what the hell do you expect my child to do? allow her to manhandle him? No he is going to attack because he's been abused by his school. Since my son is 6yrs old, who has autism has the mentality emotionally and socially ONLY 2yr 10m old latino/black you don't care but since all those providers that hurt my child are all white you think it's okay to allow them to hurt my child. Both places are trained to block hits the advanced therapy care provider antagonize it Sami was restraining him by pulling him he told her multiple times to stop touching him Sami wouldn't listen I couldn't go back there to intervene because they had the door locked. It is b******* that you did not allow me to press charges today. because you were threatening that my child's going to get battery charges and a misdemeanor on him too. I even said I wanted to press the charges I didn't care what you where saying about my boy. I am so sick of y'all discriminating the disabled and minorities. Update: thank you to the officer that called me when i complain i greatly appreciate it even though we had some disagreement on certain thing but im happy the officer that wouldn't let me press charges called me back and did a report and allowed me to press charges i greatly appreciate it. Now y'all do need to work on not saying I'm the one that's allowing my son to be abused by his school if y'all don't know what's going on in my son case y'all shouldn't have the right to be harassing me stating that it's my fault my son being abused because I won't take him out of the school. My son has every right to go to a public school a parent should not have to worry about her child being abuse schools are supposed to be safe place not abusive. Update I'm still disgusted .shame on y'all for retaliating against my child and I. All because I know my rights it's just a shame, and this is supposed to be the best city in America. I hope you do know that when you stated on the report the only reason why you're not pressing charges is because of his disability and age. hello wake up that's called DISCRIMINATION!!! Update: it's so funny how you guys could go in on this website and make it look like 3 people wrote good reviews about you supposably many months before I did. nice going but whoever did that I'll make sure that the investigators look into that also.🤓 sorry but I'm a tad bit smarter than your technology personnel. Update: Thank you detective Kevin Dixon for shopping with my son. (Shop with a cop) he still talks about it today he told me his favorite part of the entire day was eating a donut and juice with you. He was nervous at first but he's saying that he's starting to have trust in police again. It warms my heart to know that my son starting to trust police.

The police are very courteous and understanding. Dispatch is condescending and rude. The woman I talked to was not interested in helping at all.

Wish y'all would do your jobs. Weather it's a big thing or little.its still your job.If you did maybe my naubour wouldn't have committed suicide. Everyone called for your help do to his mental health but I guess that wasn't good enough. Now he's dead. FYI saying he will kill my dog, screaming ,threating me in front of my children over my fence, peeping Tom setting fire,ect is all illegal and you could have done something but wouldn't. He needed help you could have helped with that but you didn't now he's dead. I call bs cause your discriminateing on where we live. I still pay taxes even if I'm not rich remember that. I shouldn't have to come to you when iv repeatedly called for you to come to the seen.
