Story

Meson Sabika is an award-winning Spanish Tapas restaurant that has resided in an 1847 Georgian mansion since 1990. It goes without question, that the restaurant offers an unmatched dining experience. Guests can dine indoors and enjoy the grace and charm reminiscent of a European Villa or can choose to sit outdoors on the terrace while enjoying the ultimate alfresco experience underneath 150-year-old oak trees which cover the estate.

Guests will find that each item on the menu offers a taste of Spain. Awesome experience with close friends of ours. A myriad choices of tapas, delicious Spanish wine, cozy environment...you cannot beat that. Excellent service and even...they offered sleeping bags if we decided to stay overnight. ;) Last but not the least, the restaurant is located in an old mansion built in 1847. It's a prime location for lavish weddings, as well. Enjoy your visit to Mesón Sabina!

Nice but extremely overrun and overpriced for mother's day brunch. They took "to-order" items off the menu and increased the price of brunch. I spent $99.99 for two people...ouch.The food remains the same after years of going which has become uninspiring at this point. I've noticed the quality of food items lessening over time and frequency of cleaning/changing out setup lessening. It's now only good, not great for Sunday brunch. Still very good for dinner given the actual menu offers so much more to choose from.

Great food, interesting setting. We dined here for the first time with a group of friends who had been here before. We took suggestions from them about what to order. The red sangria was good and the pitcher gave 4 of us about a glass and a half each. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing as were the avocado crab toasts, the roasted goat cheese, the grill pork tenderloin and the beef tenderloin empanada. We also got a paella and I wasn’t blown away by it. The octopus and shrimp were a little chewy but the scallops were perfect. Dessert was also a little underwhelming. We ordered the pecan cheesecake and it was good but not great. My friend got the all chocolate dessert and that was very rich. Overall the food was good, the prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was fun and unique.

Food and service was excellent! I've gone there at least once a every year for at least 6 years, and they never disappoint. They have quite a variety of Tapas, which the bacon wrapped dates are one of my favorite along with the beef skewers. This time I was with our family and had 7 adults and 3 kids under the age of 5, for an early dinner on a Sunday. The waiter was excellent and never had to wait more than about a minute to put in another order for more Tapas or get a drink. As well as the price for the quality of food is really good. I'd highly recommend.

This place is quite a unique restaurant. We went on a night when they had live entertainment. Parking is specifically for them, so it’s easy to get in and out. The grounds around the restaurant are lovely. My husband made reservations and we were seating quickly upon arrival. Being huge fans of Paella(a Spanish rice/meat and seafood dish), we quickly put in our order and sangria for the table. Everything was delicious, flavorful, warm and wonderful. This is a really great place for date night, or to bring your family. We brought our 3 year old and he loved the food as well. Highly recommend.
