They were extremely careful with packing all the treasures of my parent’s home. So pleased! Not only that, they had to coordinate three separate deliveries to three separate places in the United States. I delighted when all of our pieces, whether furniture, dishes or a grand piano were delivered without a problem. The one piece that was slightly damaged was compensated immediately. Hire them!! Job well done indeed!

So far, so bad. I should have just called a more local outfit that wouldn't have charged me so much money for so very little. But, I thought I might be moving out of state and decided a big brand moving company would be smarter. Big brand turned out to be a non-starter. Though they're part of Mayflower, Metcalf Moving & Storage is still just another "local" outfit. I got charged well over $1,000 to pick up my stuff (about 5,000 lbs.) and put it into storage. I got charged $200+ each month for storage, and now that I'm ready to move into a new apartment, I'll be charged nearly $1,000 for the last half of the move. The worst of it though is the timing. I was allowed to move into my new place early, but fat lot of good it did me. When I called Metcalf I was told they were busy with other moves and didn't have the personnel to deal with my move. So, now I have to live in an empty space with a chair, a TV tray and an air mattress for 1.5 weeks until they feel like bringing my stuff to me. Very VERY disappointing experience. Like I said, I've paid out a lot of money for very little satisfaction. I just hope my possessions arrive in good condition.

We just moved family heirlooms from Minnesota to Washington state through Metcalf and Mayflower. Ryan was our rep, who was very responsive and patient with all our questions and requests. We had no surprises throughout the move. Donnet, our move coordinator worked diligently to get our delivery scheduled to our demanding needs. The moving crew, led by Michael, was also careful and conscientious of our precious items. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone in the twin cities. Excellent customer service at competitive rates!!!

Totally unprofessional. Just about all my items were damaged. I will Never recommend or use your mediocre company again.

From beginning to end, a fabulous moving experience. Having moved many times in my life, the team at Metcalf really set themselves apart from other moving companies I've used around town. The bid was spot on, the movers were very friendly and courteous, and everything was as expected. My wife even tipped the movers she was so happy. Metcalf is a sure thing during a stressful moving day.
