Metro Detroit installed new roof over our sun porch and it leaked within 2 years.  I called and they sent a rep and said they found the leak.  They said they repaired the leak, but it got worse and when I called again, they stopped taking my calls or answering my mail.  The roof and ceiling were ruined and I had it replaced by a new company.  I am suing Metro Detroit Roofing, but the owner (Larry Vaughn Jr.) is nowhere to be found.  The process server has tried several addresses with no luck-- empty buildings, etc.  What does that tell you.  SCAM!

If I could give 0 stars I would! Paid a considerable amount of money for a roof leak 7/25/17 which was supposed to come with a 5 year warranty. The leak has never been fixed and now I can't even get a call back!!! Worst company EVER! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Stay away from Metro Detroit Roofing.  They repaired a leaking copper roof of mine and after 2 weeks the roof was leaking again.  I have called multiple times over the past several months and they will not answer the call.  The warranty that I was charged for is USELESS because they have no intention of ever answering my calls or returning to make the necessary repairs.  I also tried to stop by their office in Livonia and - surprise - they no longer have an office at 39393 Plymouth Road.  Fully expect to see Larry Paul Vaughn Jr. in Fox 2's Hall of Shame or jail someday for running a scam.

This is a horrible company. They never call back. They gave me an estimate on my siding and they charged me $950. They told me the siding will be coming in 2 weeks and that was in Novemebrr 2015 ever since I been calling them and they keep pro longing me and just telling me it will be in the following week. They stopped answering my calls and they never got back with me. They wasted my time and my now more damages have occurred since due to having a whole from a squirrel in the wood. Don't waste your time with this company. Clearly Larry Paul Vaughn Jr does not know how to answer customer calls or return calls. Horrible customer service.

They were professional and flexible with the estimate of repainring our chimney.  They took pictures of the damage and stated what was included in their rate, which includes a 5 year warranty for the work they did. They are working on it as I write this, and so far so good.  I do not have the experiece with the warranty piece yet, but I trust they will honor it.  I am very pleased with their esrimate, its clarity and their professionalism so far.
