Went there today as a walk-in and loved my new haircut and style. Courtney was very professional and did an amazing job!!

Somewhat nice, but unprofessional. Talks negative about her other clients, makes me feel uneasy. Jessica Haight  the one who did my hair. From the beginning she was assured I DO NOT want any warm colors in my hair, only cool. Anyways after "toning" it twice, I left with brown hair with blended in, and on the ends, orange brown hair. Not blonde, and I understand she for some reason can not do what other hair dressers do and make me blonde (n she doesn't even have the correct clay beach for the balayage procedure) But I would of preferred to leave there paying over $100 to look the same way I did coming into the salon. Now I have to spend $100-200 again to fix it before the two weddings I am attending this weekend.
Also, she made me sign a release form before putting color on my head while I was sitting with a "malibu" treatment on my hair. So even if I demanded a discount or not to pay, I would't win.
Completely dissatisfied.
The person who booked my appointment, though I had been very direct and said I have medium brown ahi and I want to get a blonde balayage, asked specifically for this stylist, Jessica, and repeated my area code while telling my phone number.
Upon arrival I had learned she did not get any of my information, misspelled my name, no phone number, and put me down for highlights.
As highlights take less time, Jessica was rushing to do my hair in a few steps before her mens hair cut appointment. So I sat with the wrong bleach in my hair with foils while she cut his hair, but he had already waited a while, and she was rushing and getting messier and messier as she tried to finish the "balayage" .
But I digress, completely unprofessional, a huge waste of money, my hair is dry, and I have to find someone and somewhere to fix this disaster in the next 2 days ( In good salons it's hard to book last minute appointments, this one I book a week before the appt.)
SO Whatever, I keep trying to tell myself it's just hair, but it's different when I have three huge events in a few days. UGH.

LEAH is AMAZING!! I went in there once just to get my hair cut and I haven't gone anywhere else since. Leah was so informative the first time I went in, she gave me great advice about keeping my hair healthy even though I blow dry and straighten it every day. She also gave me ideas of what I could do with my hair, being medium length and thin. She's easy to talk to and is so much fun. She has given me amazing highlights every time!! I have since sent 3 of my girlfriends to her and they absolutely love her and continue to see her. I'm getting married next December and I'm so excited for her to do it!!

I love going to get my hair cut and eyebrows done at Mia and Maxx. I go see Vanessa Swiatnicki and she always does a great job on giving me a new look. I would highly recommend going to Mia and Maxx. I have friends who go to other stylists their and we are always happy with the out come. The prices are good and the people are friendly.
