Story

Miami Ad School is at the intersection of education and real-world experience. Students learn by doing from instructors who are professionals from the advertising, design and tech world. Students develop ideas and advertising campaigns, videos, social media strategies, websites, apps, products and new business models.

Founded in 1993, Miami Ad School has grown to a network of 16 schools in 11 different countries. Through the school’s partnerships with dozens of agencies and companies, students have the opportunity to intern and get real-world experience while they are still in school. Our creative and practical approach to training has made our students the most awarded on the planet.

Mission

As the entire communications industry is in the midst of the most profound transformation in consumers’ relationship with media, the mission of Miami Ad School is to train the creative and strategic thinkers of the future before the future has happened; to engineer pop culture with creative insight and strategic thinking from a global perspective. Students learn to solve problems with whatever discipline, media, channel, skill or craft necessary.

Miami Ad School is likely to be one of those experiences that shape and change your life.

More than a school, it’s a home for anyone creative looking for likeminded people to crunch projects with all night. Because yes, the school is open 24/7, and yes, there is a coffee maker. If you indeed are a creative, that should excite you. 

The value of going to Miami Ad School is not only measured in having some of the greatest creative minds in the world share their knowledge with you, but by the fellow students you work with every day. Over the course of two years I’ve met some of the most amazing people I know today, made a few best friends, and even seen classmates get married. All of these people - talented creatives you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

While at MAS I learned how to keep my eyes on the ball through think and thin, became a slightly better person, and even found myself somewhere along the way. 

You will put everything else aside, give this school your all, and come out on the other side as a great creative, skilled, with job offers, and stories to spare.

“When you decide to go to Miami Ad School, simply pack your bag with the passion to learn. The rest is taken care of. Miami Ad School provides a pedestal for every budding creative who wants to make it big in advertising. Read “big” in bold. Because when you are a part of Miami Ad School you lose the chance to be mediocre. MAS didn't just help me to become a good creative but what followed was tons of awards and a book that got me job offers from some of the best agencies in the world. Miami Ad School has been a life saver for me in my creative world since I haven't been back to an art school that has made me feel back at home in almost a decade. It brings back my love for design, gives me a reason to think of design ideas and draw again.

The students of all programs have made us proud, and myself especially since I helped them get their foot in the door. I love everything this school presents and teaches, and helps students get themselves out there instead of leaving them to fend for themselves in this industry alone.
