Where do I begin... First off, if you own a Mac do not go here. Probably do not go here for any help. I had my hard drive fail in October/November and needed a quick fix. Living in the middle of no where, Waterville was the closest place to get my laptop fixed. I did a little research and decided to call MME. The man was pleasant on the phone and helpful...Then I dropped my laptop off. The house is extremely sketchy on Sherwin Street (if you do not know it, it is not the type of place you like to have expensive electronics.) I looked passed the appearance and met with the man. He gave me a quote of about $300. Gave me a receipt (no money yet), and said he would call me when it was ready. Now at this point he was putting in a new hard drive and labor. After about three hours, he calls me and tells me it is going to take another two hours and the software is downloading...Okay I decided to go see a movie for the time being to kill time. I get out of the movie and have many missed calls and texts. About three minutes after I had got off the phone with him before, he tells me my laptop is done. Then I call him and he says he noticed something else was wrong and went ahead and put it in. Now the cost is going to be about $500. WHAT?? I was shocked and my friend called back immediately and told him to take that new part out because we had NOT discussed it or even asked for it and we were not going to pay for. He argued for about 30 minutes then decided to take it out and then we went to pick it up. He has his wife or girlfriend come out to give us the laptop (would not face us) and I gave her the $300. He only would text me. Never went over what he did. Never gave my hard drive warranty only said "ask me if you need it." Two months later, my laptop crashes again and the hard drive failed. He "forgot" to put two screws into my hard drive and also never replaced the hard drive cable. Both failed and now I am putting another $400 into my laptop. He told me that my hard drive had a warranty and I called him left a message about it... Nothing back. Obviously, he does not know what he is doing OR is con-ing people out of money. Save yourself time and money and go see professionals that are Apple Certified. I would not trust this man with your electronics. Do not take your products to him. I ended up spending $800 in all to fix this problem that could have originally been fixed for about $350. I guess I learned my lesson, but I hope this helps you. DO NOT GO TO MID MAINE ELECTRONICS. Funny thing is I bet he will answer my call after I post this review. "I only want happy customers" he said. Yeah well next time remember the two screws, loser!

Fantastic Job. Computer repair isn't cheap, but MME offered the best price around. They made sure that, by the end, my computer was working exactly how it should be. They displayed professionalism, competency, and dedication far beyond what I know I would have received elsewhere.
