Use this moving company at your own risk! I scheduled a move a day prior to my move date and the rates sounded reasonable. My move was scheduled between 12pm-2pm The day of my move I get a call from the manager asking if they could come earlier in the morning like right now because they had a cancellation. I told him I wasnt ready & needed to keep the agreed time. About 30 minutes later the manager calls back & says they can't complete the move today because he's the only one & had no other movers to help him. Then he tried to make it seem like it was my fault because they could of completed the move earlier when he asked. I'm like "What!" I had to scram to find a new moving company at the last minute because of their unprofessionaliam! U better have a back up plan if you're going to use Mid City Mover. They are Not Reliable.

Worst possible movers I've ever dealt with in my life!! No don't use these guys! I've been moved over 7 times and I've never experienced such unprofessional movers. The "owner" is so rude and disrespectful. My appointment for moving was Saturday between 12pm -2pm. It's 3pm so I call him for an update and he gets upset at me saying he doesn't know, I told him could he at least give me a time frame and he said I don't know maybe another hour. He said he really didn't want to move me because he's tired, he'd rather re-schedule my appointment for tomorrow. I told him I couldn't do that because I had to turn on my keys today. He said fine but I don't know how long will be. Then when he arrived since I knew he was in a bad mood I was trying to put everything behind us of how horrible he was. He asked for a look around then looked at my bedroom set and said no, that's a lot of work to take it apart. Mind you I already told him I had a bedroom set that will have to be taken apart. Then he says oh well this is going to take a lot longer than I thought. I told him that bedroom set can come apart in 30 minutes or less from my previous movers. He said well apparently you don't have enough money for more than two hours. Really?! I had plenty of money but I'm not going to pay a lazy lard to go slow because he's too heavy to even be in the business. At the end I was in tears crying saying I needed him to move me today I have no other option, I have no one to help me and I scheduled my move with your company. He said I'm not moving you with that attitude. Which made me cry even more that he was such a jerk. He literally left me outside as I begged him to please help me moveand he drive away. As a man let alone a business man as a owner you never talk to your customers that way. In addition, you never leave them high and dry on a weekend when you had a appointment set up two weeks in advance. Long story short...Don't have use this company! He does not deserve having his own business.

WORST COMPANY EVER TO EXIST. They were supposed to move me on Friday at 12, however called back and stated that they were tied up on the first job so it would be 2. I contacted them several times when they never showed at 2. I finally was able to reach the driver who stated the the owner Mark was supposed to call me. I immediately contacted Mark for an update, to which he abruptly stated that they can't move me today. I asked why and he said they just can't but can tomorrow. I asked why this wasn't related to me earlier and why did I have to track him down to learn this information. They showed up an hour late the next day after I called them twice requesting an eta. They charged me for 3 hours even though they moved me in 90 minutes. I never received an apology nor a discount for the previous day via Mark. Upon inspecting my couch it was soak and wet. I informed the driver that it is velvet and can't be wet. He stated that he advised Mark and should I have any issues to contact him. Mark was contacted 2 days later about my couch to which I stated needed to be dry cleaned. He rudely stated he wasn't going to pay for dry cleaning due to his men sweating on my couch. I told him that he and his business were unprofessional and sub par at best then hung up. Mark called me back very argumentative and combative stating he couldnt talk then but I now can tell him exactly what I felt about him and his business. Needless to say I will never use this company again, they will overcharge for services, very rude and unprofessional, will damage your furniture while not taking responsibility. The owner Mark honestly needs to close his business due to his attitude and his lack to properly communicate with customers. Please read all reviews including Yelp to which they all state the same about he and his business.

I would definitely use MidCity Movers again for a move. They were prompt, courteous, and efficient. Everything was handled expertly from moving out of the apartment to moving into the house.

I was trying to get on with the company and I told the guy that I don't have a car and the guy disrespecting me
