You won't be disappointed with these guys. They are quality halal and have very satisfying food! They are friendly and have been around for a while now.
Used to be abundance of goodness but not anymore. Price went up from $6 to $9 per plate without any changes on the plate itself or the amounts served within. I just hate when the guy keeps adding the chicken to my plate and at the same move he picks it up back to the grill, then he repeats the same move three or four times making believe that he served me 3 or 4 generous portions of meat while the fact is that it’s less than what I’d paid for, even less than a single portion of serving!! Second visit: My plate was even worse than before.. Totally lacks quality and over priced for its portions.
undercooked and smelly chicken. not to mention the horrible customer service. I ordered 2, but the worker says I ordered 3. Even the person behind me confirm I ordered 2. He argues with me but ends up giving me my 2 also charging me extra. Its fine I let it be because he seemed tired. Ate the food, I had a horrible stomach ache. Chicken was undercooked and smelly. I didnt even finish it.
I used to come to this place a lot when i was living in the neighborhood and the food was ALWAYS great but the person in the cart was so rude and disrespectful when I came here a few weeks ago where i just walked away. I was giving my order and while I am talking, he decides to stop listening and take someone else's order and then randomly starts yelling "GYRO IS SANDWICH". Not sure if it was a bad day or what but based on recent comments, looks like this guy has been rude and aggressive for no reason. My family would always come here but never again. We left and ordered from the cart across the street and food was pretty good.
RUDE AND UNDERCOOKED DO NOT GO HERE. Ordered 10 gyros for my employees. I was trying to place the order and the woker was giving me attitude for having different orders. I even told him to take the customers in front of me but he refused and told me to leave if im gonna take long. After I got my order I heard him curse at me under his breath even after I left them a tip. When I checked 6 out of 10 orders were competely wrong. I requested pita on top, did not get that. I did not complain so i let it be. Food was garbage, portions were small, chicken undercooked and disrespectful employees. Do yourself a favor and visit other halal carts in NY. This is overhyped and one of the worst.
The best halal cart in NYC! Food is always fresh. They recently raised their prices but it is still reasonable in comparison to other carts in NYC. Falafel is the best in town!
This food is so bland, it made me question whether I had a cold and lost my sense of taste. The only thing I tasted was the hot sauce which literally burned my lips and tongue. Took an hour long not exaggerating and it cost $7. Way better carts esp in Brooklyn area. Not sure what the hype is about
If you want BEST Falafel in New York, your search is over. This place has the best Falafel over rice. They give some extra salad compared to other carts or Halal Guys. Price is very reasonable around $9 per plate. It not only fills your stomach but also your hunger. Staff is very friendly and kind. They sometimes greet you in your home country language if you are international.
Food here is okay at best. The price has gone higher than the halal carts in the city. You cant charge restaurant prices with no restaurant. All the late night customers are rude and drunk, which explains why the workers has such a bad attitude. Falafel was nice and fresh. Lamb was chopped into bits and burnt like hell.
Very disrespectful. THEY SPIT IN MY FOOD. Guy claiming to be owner said I ordered 2 plates when I clearly ordered one. I said no, he snatched the plates back and said have a nice day. told him sorry if there was any mistake I ordered only one can I please get my food. He spits in it then hands it to me, I left. Will not be coming back here.
