Ruzana
"Ruzana was born out of the sheer love of flavor and family. After immigrating to the United States over 30 years ago, Khadija Abdul-Fattah recognized how food could build connections between people. Though she missed her home country of Palestine, Khadija made the best of her situation by bringing a piece of home to New York City. Our dishes complete our culinary vision of bright colors and bursts of flavor that inspire our guests to indulge in Middle Eastern culture. Each meal is made with love and passion that transports you to the beautiful and culture-rich country of Palestine."

This place is a gem! Food there is sooo tasty and the portions are big that you will most likely end up taking leftovers home also a plus not to cook the next day! Prices are very reasonable and honestly with food that good, other places would charge you waaaay more. I went there with my family and a small group of friends and we ordered a bunch of stuff Shawarma platter, Mansaf platter, burger and fries, Msakhan and stuffed grape leaves and some appetizers salad, hummus and fries, Tabbouleh. Everything I tried was good and tasty, staff were very welcoming and friendly. On a side note, we noticed they were packing a huge order to go and out of curiosity we asked and came to know that they cater events and parties and that order was a stuffed lamb! It looked huge Highly recommend the place, a must try if you ever were in bay ridge area, Brooklyn.
Friendly family restaurant. I love that they open late. We usually order either the musakhan rolls easy to share or chicken shawarma sandwich and found the bamia beef/okra stew pretty comforting. Their falafels are also super crispy. Can’t wait to try their other platters!
Had shawarma here before, was actually one of the best I had in NYC. But today I had the Mansaf and a couple of pies, zaater and laham. Loved the food. Has outdoor seating and the staff always welcomes you with a smile.
Some of the best mixed grill in brooklyn, the chicken skewer was so tender and flavourful, the lamb skewer was fresh and grilled perfect. The mince kebabs were extremely good. It is a little pricy but thats to be expected nowadays. Rice was fluffy and delicious. Highly recommended if you are craving some good food.
The best shawarma i had in my life in new york. Very nice staff and it's very clean.Food: 5/5
This is the most amazing original palestinian food in all of NEW YORK. I felt like i was at home its the best restaurant ive ever had. I honestly just wanted to go to sleep there. The service is excellent & honestly its the best vibe on earth when you feel like your grandma made the food
I love this hidden little gem! From their shawarma, to the yummy baba ghanouch , and warm creamy lentil soup on a cold day!! So delicious! Also their desk host is so sweet and inviting! I try to make it here on my lunch breaks frequently for a comforting dish to soothe my soul
This restaurant looks like the place that local people come to eat. The place has nice decoration and seats outside which is good. For the food you have to go inside to order then you pick any seat you want to sit. For drinks is also the same, there is a refrigerator, and you go get water or soda. They will bring to food to your table then you can enjoy the food. I have a popular Shawarma with chicken and lamb, taste good and I also like the salad with fresh Drill. I wish they have desert, but they don't.
Ordered the Arabic falafel platter. A dish well put together. The falafel was inside a wrap and included fresh Mediterranean ingredients. The hummus in this dish was good quality. The fries have to be my favorite part of the whole dish though. It’s like they are seasoned with a garlic & herb salt. They taste delicious.
Amazing food. Best shawerma I've ever had outside of the middle east. Make sure you ask for garlic sauce cause its out of this world. If you're reading this, its worth it to go. Trust me.
