Solid chicken fried steak. Breakfast certainly beats Denny's. They've been there forever and will be going forward. It's great to see Midvale denizens in their element. I always feel right at home. No pretense whatsoever other than the restaurant logo embroidered on the headrest of the booths. I'll continue to patronize because it's comfort food done right. Chuck-A-Rama tries but where they fall short, they try to make up for with volume. It's hollow and empty, everything that this place isn't.

The food here is delicious (even my foodie friends like it) and plentiful. The pancakes are immense. Like, seriously, dinner plate size. It's also not as trendy as Penny Ann's, though it does a nice brisk business (less of a wait to eat).

Since 1989 I have been ordering steak and eggs here every Saturday. Nowhere else comes close. Best service on the planet. Great steak. Awesome coffee. We love Midvale Mining company !!

Great prices on delicious steak. 14.99 for a twelve ounce Ribeye. Yes please. On top of that a delicious slice of fry bread plus my two other sides. Overall very impressed with this nice little cafe.
