Well, we had to put down one of our rabbits here. Without details, every single person on staff was very genuine, sweet, apologetic, and helpful. I can tell they REALLY do care. We took our second bunny in a week later for a check-up, and had a great time. They were courteous from the very start. Amazing place with amazing people. Thank you all.

Terrible experience. They charge an arm for an emergency visit. I toke my bearded dragon in with an eye infection and he had his eye shut. Vet was so worried about the tank he was in, rather than his actual condition. Then thought it would be a great idea to give him eye drops , even though his eye was shut close. Eye infection worsened and I transferred him and I had to give him antibiotic injections after giving the worthless eye drops I paid a fortune for. Never ever will return. I called back to speak with the vet because he was getting worse and they told me I had to bring him in so they could charge me another arm. And not to mention the vet as so rude as well as the staff who works behind as secretary. Not only is it super pricey it's crappy quality. My bearded dragon could have lost his eye due to the negligence of them . I could rate zero stars if I could.

I took my two guinea pigs here tonight after one of them passed a large blood clot. Finding a 24 hour exotic emergency vet is very difficult in most areas so finding this office was great. They were very kind and professional. While it is a little pricey I felt that it was worth it because they were very well educated on how to diagnose/treat guinea pigs. One of the pigs needed X-rays and they were able to take the images and read them within an hour. The vet tech who showed me how to administer the medication was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for emergency guinea pig care.

I can back up the bad reviews, here. I'm sure for the simplest of veterinary tasks, they do a fine job, but my experience was a complete waste of time and money. I gave the one default star, because they are an actual business, with staff, and can perform some services poorly, though all but the vet were friendly. Prepare for a wall of words! Bear in mind, it is written for the benefit of the nonhuman animals under the reader's care. My visit was perhaps unusual for them, as I had to bring an opossum from the wildlife education facility I work for. Our regular exotics vet is out of town, so we found ourselves stuck at this literal hole-in-the wall. The thing about creatures like opossums is that vets must acquire special training and receive a wildlife license to even see them. Ours has one, and, according to the woman that answered the phone as we called around looking for an opening for our friend, said they had such a vet with the qualification. The unit itself is quite small - I counted 3 tiny exam rooms, a small employee lounge, a small lobby, and a back area for all their "procedures." It was empty, of course, and I was in a room straight away. The "doctor" struck me as odd, at first, with a sort of annoyed-looking scowl and tone to match. Seemed hurried, though again, the place was a ghost town. She asked me about her diet and so on, as vets do, and how she was housed, to which I replied, "She's in a wooden enclosure, outside." She barked (no exaggeration), "Oh, out in this heat and sun? Ok." I said, "No, I built it so she has lots of shelter from the sun." She asked if she can be handled. I told her absolutely, she's an education animal and very tame. She stared motionless for several moments at the crate with a confused look on her face. She was afraid, and not sure what to do. Looked to be in her mid-twenties or so, so I imagine she's somewhat inexperienced and generally lacking confidence. So I finally asked, "Would you like me to get her out for you?" Slowly, she replied, "Yeeeaaahh..." That's a professional, folks! Sarcasm, of course. So, I take out the little opossum, she handles her for about 10 seconds to listen to her chest, and shoots out her diagnosis, saying it's probably pneumonia. Based on experience, I know that at least this moment she is probably correct. I agreed that she should be x-rayed to see for sure if there's lung congestion, agreeing also that she'll need to be anaesthetized to get a clear image, she quickly explains that it will be expensive, and she awkwardly towels the opossum like it's about to explode, carrying her to the back room. I am brought an estimate of the charges I am about to incur, and quickly agree to the almost $500 bill. Hour later, brings her back saying she has fluid in the lungs and a possible intestinal obstruction. And here's where I know for sure she's full of a lil' somethin' stinky. She says there are only two options: hospitalization, another $1,000 or more, or euthanization, costing another ~$200. She also made sure to tell me they could sell me a nice box to put her in, or have her cremated for another charge. I dont think she understood the training & education I have, i.e. animal behavior management, husbandry of exotics, conservation, and wildlife education, also a moderate amount of veterinary care and procedures, including being able to actually observe an animal to determine quality if life decisions. Tries to tell me she cant even stand up. Dufus - she's 1) Groggy from anaesthesia, 2) nocturnal, and 3) pretty spoiled and lazy. Then she lied to me, saying she couldnt send me home with intavenous meds (I have been before). I called her out, she got defensive, and I decided to just get the oral meds, pay, and leave before I really lost my temper. Waste of time, but at least I got my $500 baytril. As I write, shes up and about, as we work to get her through without the meager assistance of that angry little girl in scrubs. Also learned later that the vet I saw was NOT the one with a wildlife license. Shocker.

The service we received was awful. The doctors scammed us completely. Don't come here if you really need to go somewhere, don't come here.
