Staff there is always friendly and quick to help as soon as they're available.  Casey has helped me a bunch of times including my first bike since I was a teenager back in 2016.  This week I was too lazy to drive down to Sacramento to get a pair of Garmin Vector pedals I wanted to use this weekend so I used the online chat feature on the website to see if I could get some sent to the Folsom store, Adam helped me out on the chat and they were there today for me to pick up and once again Casey rung me up.  I try to shop at Mikes Bikes whenever I need something and I'll be bringing a bike in for service soon, their tech department guys have always been great fixing quick problems and offering advice.  Water bottle refill station there is always great too since they're right off the bike path.

Purchased a new Specialized helmet just the other day. Rode my bike to the shop as fast as I could and got there right at 6pm (when they close). Todd asked if I needed help with anything and I let him know I was looking for a helmet for my ride home. He was kind enough to let me into the shop and  he made the sale.  When I got home I noticed there was a small manufacturing defect. The next day I went back and Todd was working again.  I showed him the issue and he said "yep that isn't right" and went to look for a replacement in inventory.  They didn't have one so he offered to have one transferred from another Mike's and even allowed me to keep the defective helmet I had while I waited a few days for the transfer so I could still be safe commuting on my bike.  Several days later I was able to pick up a perfect replacement of exactly what I wanted. Thank you for the superior customer service and attention to safety and detail. I will definitely be back as I begin upgrades to my ride!

I just recently went in looking for a specific size bike. Brian, my salesman was very laid back and professional. He found my bike size and color I wanted at another store. He transferred the bike over and I had a chance to compare two bikes back to back. Brian was super helpful in setting the bikes up and walking me through all the different specs of each bike. I was there for nearly 2 hours asking questions and riding the bikes. Brian was very patient and made me feel super comfortable and confident that I was choosing to buy my bike from the right store. It was a great experience and I really appreciate the service I was offered by Brian and his team. Thanks Mike's Bikes!!

When I came in I was ignored for 5 minutes before someone talked to me. I came in to this shop looking for 5 products. They didn't have a single one and were uptight and rude. I'll never shop here.

To begin, let's just be clear that I am not a cyclist. I have a really nice Specialized road bike that my husband purchased for me from Mike's Bikes, but I don't ride very often. In fact, following my infrequent rides, I very often have neck aches, headaches, and back issues, so I tend to make excuses for not riding :) Are you getting the picture? Enter Tony from Mike's Bikes in Folsom... I showed up at the store and told Tony that I needed to have my bike better adjusted because I needed to do a 35-mile ride through Napa the next day, and I was terrified because I had not sat on that bike in three years. (And in the meantime, we had lent the bike to someone 3 inches shorter than me and they had adjusted the seat.) Tony calmly checked my tires and filled them with the proper amount of air and tested to be sure they would hold. Then he had me sit on the bike and fine-tuned the seat height. He would not take payment or a tip for his services. I am happy to report that I rode the 35 miles easily the next day and did not have one bit of residual soreness or strain. They know what they're doing at Mikes Bikes! Thanks Tony!
