I was seen very quickly and had a my surgery soon after. I had my “Post Op” appointment this week & have had a very positive outcome. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Herceg and his staff and would definitely use them again, should ever need to I highly recommend Orthopedic One.
I accompanied my elderly Mother to her appointment with this surgeon. He was arrogant, impatient and disrespectful. He seemed overtly disinterested in answering our questions and clarifying our concerns. From reviews, he may be skilled in the OR. He is not skilled as a compassionate human and certainly doesn’t demonstrate concern or care for the whole person. I wouldn’t want my Mother or someone else I love to be cut by him. Big thumbs down from us. There are other great surgeons in Columbus who care about the whole person they are being hired to heal by their surgical hands. We will seek another option.
Dr Herceg quickly stepped in when the previously contacted surgeon was not available during my emergency spine procedure. He told us after reviewing my MRI to immediately go to the hospital. He saw to all the details at the hospital and operating room with amazing speed. He thoroughly explained what the damage was and what he would do during surgery. After surgery he frequently checked on my condition and rehab. The surgery was a great success due to Dr Herceg’s knowledge, skill, and quick action.
Excellent care, straight forward explanations plus any options and recommendations. Doctor's assistant and office staff are excellent better than any other staff I've experienced. Return emails and calls before expected fast turn around. Doctor is open when second opinion is sought, discussed afterwards, came to agreement on procedure moving forward. Be prepared before appointments with questions, etc. like other medical offices efficiencies are part of today's medical care. Excellent, experienced, talented physician and staff.
I can not say enough about Dr Milan Herceg!!! He performed my 2006 back and 2023 neck surgeries. Impeccable Physician, exemplary education and credentials, great guy, no non-sense approach, and I will always recommend and request him as well as Orthopedic One.
Dr.Herceg is amazing. I have had 3 successful spine surgeries & have recovered better than ever. I have continued to bike, sail,& hike, thanks to Dr. Herceg’s excellence!
Dr. Herceg was a consummate professional. He exuded confidence and my procedure progressed perfectly according to his stated plan. And he works with a tremendous team who are all poised and committed to their patient's exemplary outcomes. It was my good fortune to find my way to Dr Herceg and his team.
A very pleasant experience from the first time we met until post surgically when my staples were removed. 100% satisfied with everything.
Dr Herceg performed back fusion on my the L4, L5 and S1 vertebrae on Jan 24, 2023. In July I moved to my new house. Today Sept 14, 2023 I was able to spread 4 bags of mulch. Thank you Dr Herceg.
