Great selection of unique clothing, jewelry, accessories , home deco and bath products! Friendly and helpful staff. It was almost closing time (1/2 h before about) but they still let me look around the second floor very quickly even though I insisted they must be preparing to close. There is a nice lady who helped me look for a size and another color. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Ottawa!

I've bought necklaces from here that tarnished with regular wear (no perfume, sweat, or exposure to water). Surprisingly, necklaces I've bought from Forever 21 and H&M still look new. I expected items from a local boutique to be higher quality compared to large chain stores. On Instagram, they selectively answer item inquiries. They posted a photo of a necklace and I asked which metal that particular necklace is made from, but I never received a response. During an in-store visit, the sales associate commented on "not tangling the necklaces" as another reviewer had mentioned and I agree it is poor customer service. Not a welcoming atmosphere for sure. My suggestion to Milk Shop is to be more transparent and knowledgeable about the products you sell. Also, it doesn't help your business by leaving passive aggressive/childish responses to negative reviews. It only makes you look objectively stupid.

Great selection of local and small retailers clothing and accessories. Staff is hit or miss, however. Some days they are incredibly helpful and pleasant and other days the same staff members can be pushy, awkward, abrupt, and generally rude.

Wonderful experience. The staff were wonderful, they started me with a fitting room as soon as I got in. Were offering to take a look at product not yet on the floor to find a pair of jeans for myself. The product selection was amazing. The pins and accessories galore, and reasonable pricing.

I was there today and was looking at the necklaces and instead of asking me if I needed help with anything the person working there came up to me and told me "could you not tangle all our necklaces?" I litterally just used my hand to hold the necklaces to look at them nothing more. I was really shocked by the way she talked to me. That is not good customer service and I won't be going there again.
