Outstanding park. Only real draw back is lack of phone signal; TV channels. They allow us to sign on to their wiFi.. thanks folks and love all the great trees. They were babies 5+ yrs ago when we were last here. Due to personal illnesses haven't been able to come again until now.👍👍

I love to fly around using the google maps satelite view to find cool places. I usually go up and down the rivers till I see a place I have to see in person. This campground is a perfect storm of fun things coming together. You have the Elk River, the rails to trails ped., bike, horse, path that was a railroad before being converted for recreation. It is over 10 miles long. and borders the park. You have the caboose and the covered bridge in the photos. Most of all you have a full service mom n pop campground that define southern hospitality.

This place is a great place to hike and to play in the creek and the owner's that own it are very nice, it's a great place to stay.
