Story

Miller, Kistler & Campbell is truly Centre County's law firm. Our doors first opened in downtown Bellefonte in 1893, across the street from the Court of Common Pleas of Centre County. In the more than one hundred years since then, our firm has expanded into a larger office in Bellefonte and opened offices in State College and Hollidaysburg. Our firm is now full-service, with the ability to provide advice and counsel on all legal matters.

Our firm is an integral part of the Central Pennsylvania community. The attorneys at Miller, Kistler & Campbell have gone on to proudly serve as judges in the Court of Common Pleas of Centre County and as the District Attorney for Centre County, among other public positions, and current and former members have been instrumental in countless volunteer and public service projects across the region, including forming the Centre Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the Centre region, and serving on the board of directors of other organizations like the Centre County United Way and the Juniata Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Our firm also represents a wide array of public clients who have an intimate involvement in our community. Presently, the firm provides its services to more than fifty public sector clients, including the State College Area School District, the Borough of State College, Port Matilda Borough, the Centre County Sheriff, and the Centre Region Council of Governments. We have also played integral roles in the formation of important local entities like the University Area Joint Authority, the Centre Region Council of Governments, and the Mid-Centre County Authority. Miller, Kistler & Campbell has represented many of these clients for multiple decades, some for more than fifty years.
