This place is crazy and very unique for a city park! I loved the aesthetic of flowing grassy hills juxtaposed with the rotting carcass of an industrial natural gas plant. I finished general chemistry about two years ago and found that the park placed the reaction to form methane on a plaque on the fence! What a great little detail to drive home the history of the plant. Can you find the reaction plaque?

The place was formerly the town foundary, rich in history during gold rush times. The community center holds events. We were at my nephews wedding and please consider it for your venue. It's absolutely gorgeous!

Great venue, unique.  A really cool old building with tons of character, and always a great setting for almost any event.  But a real parking problem and a real management problem.

Beautiful location. I attended a wedding here. Place was decorated beautifully, definitely a place for large groups, plenty of room. Staff was very attentive and polite. Old Mining style is awesome, hence the name Plenty to do around, Wine Tasting next door is awesome
