October 2017. The lunch specials seemed reasonably priced. The lunch plate is identical (fewer choices) but includes chow mein (pictured). The meal cost $7.99 plus the cost of hot tea. Total bill = $10.21. The gentlemen that seated me almost had some personality. Another gentlemen waited on me and actually made an honest attempt at being personable. It seemed unusual that I (a man) ate alone that day and they sent a female to deliver the check (and a smile) to my table. Perhaps they thought I would leave a larger tip. I didn't see that happen at any other table but I didn't mind. I think she and some of her coworkers speak very little English. I agree with an earlier review that the staff, overall, seems somewhat odd. Not quite like the Adams Family, but "different". The food was good and did not leave me as thirsty as a desert weary camel, which some Chinese food does. I plan to eat here again in the future and hopefully try the AYCE sushi also. Maybe I should smile at the lady server that brought my check. It can't hurt and it might lead to a very interesting edit to this review.

Excellent Sushi! Wonderful attentive Sushi Chef. Artful, tasty, well played, quick service. Priced Right priced at $22 all you can eat. Atmosphere needs upscaling, more traditional decor needed. Best mood after dark.

The sushi was unexpectedly disappointing for an establishment that has been reviewed as having come in 3rd place for best sushi. I've never had the pleasure of choking on rice before but after ording sake with lemon that was quickly remedied. They pretty much get you to eat as little as possible by packing as much rice under that salmon. And every other roll after that was soggy and fell apart between my chopsticks. Now, if that was bad enough these people have no sense of space or manners. I was hit and bumped twice by servers reaching OVER me as I tried to enjoy my meal at the bar. And when it came time for the check she, not exaggerating, hovered over me as she tried to swiftly get me to sign my receipt and get me out. Even though we were the only ones there. And lastly, the cleanliness was quite utterly disgusting. The menus seemed to be teaming in previous sticky hands. In conclusion, DO NOT EAT THERE.
