We go to Black Bear Diner here in Carson at least 3 or 4 times a month. Today we had Carla as our waitress and we both enjoy her great sense of humor. She is always courteous, attentive and takes our order very quickly. The food is always delicious and the service is always great. Thanks Carla for making our meal a real enjoyment.

Carla was outstanding waitress and our service was excellent. She was wonderful about accommodating my gluten allergy. I order steak and egg special and the steak was tender and very good. First time here and would definitely return.

Massive portions that most people cannot finish. Chicken taco salad is served in a boat of deep fried flour larger than the plate. The chicken tasted like it was borrowed from the Asian chicken dish, so the meal has that exotic "East meets Mexican" flavor that I just made up. Waitress was extremely friendly. Our table was near the entrance, so we could smell casino smoke throughout the meal. Request a table farther back. Most lunch menu items are $10.99. Probably worth it.

Great food with wonderful service. We were seated promptly and our drink order was delivered within a minute. The waitress came to check on us every few minutes and refilled our drinks. I highly recommend this place when visiting Carson City.

I can honestly say this was the most pleasant dining experience I’ve had in recent memory. Our server Mary was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious, and the coffee is out of this world! What a great way to cap off a nine day road trip!
