Definitely an upgrade from the old museum. Love the Sprouts area for babies, but they need to enforce the rules better so babies don't get hurt by big kids running around unsupervised. My older child loved the Tinker Studio, but hard to find paper and supplies because the staff member on duty was doodling to herself in quiet spot. Overall we love the new exhibits, and cafe was a nice improvement. Some premade things in cooler case were expired, but mac n cheese was delicious! Prices very reasonable in the cafe.

New entrance, new toys, new fun experiences! The updated layout really shows you how stale the other was getting. We now have lasers! Now the space seems more open and the activities are sure to please and tease the minds of your little ones. Lots of smiles are to be had as you explore the different way things work (pumping water and soap at a car wash). Some old activities remain, just updated slightly, while other old favorite activities are gone (giant crane, ant house). But the giant spiral side and climbing towers will make you forget that and you'll be on to learning so much more.

I would not recommend the newly designed Museum. We (My 3rd year old and I) went today (8/18) and I thought we would eat there. However, we found the food to be over priced as well as refreshments. It was also hot inside the building/walking out on the super tiny terrace was cooler. The exhibits are centered around the older age group (5 years or so). This creates very limit areas. As well with the open floor plan it is challenging to focus on one exhibit at a time. Instead at least with my 3rd year old the focus and attention was constantly changing.

Visited with an eight year old and a four year old who had been before. They had a great time all morning. Lunch from the cafe was good and not expensive. We played for an hour after lunch, got tired and went home. A pretty perfect day for the kids.

We thought it was VERY over priced for what they offered. Way different than I remember. Not much of a 'museum' for children. More of a large indoor playground. Where our 2 & 3 year old daughter's were charged the same amount as we were. For the amount of money they make there, this place could be WAY better. We were disappointed & don't plan on returning.
