Very interesting tour. The guide was knowledgeable and approachable. Included a 10 minute video. Would have been willing to watch the 30 minute option. We were lucky enough to hear the pipe organ played too. Well worth a visit.

One of my all-time favorite places to visit! A cool house with a really interesting history. A great showcase of late 19th century technology and design. The tour is lengthy and the guides are quite knowledgeable. If you are bringing your family, I would recommend purchasing a Minnesota Historical Society Family Membership ($100) as you will receive unlimited access to not only the Hill House, but to many historical landmarks around the state as well as the Minnesota History Center which has a unique museum that is fun for both adults and kids.

Must see for the history buffs. Tour is long, they say 75 minutes but more like an hour and 45 minutes. Staff is very well trained. Not a lot of furnishings to distract from the architecture in this 36,000 sf house. It is the house that you see, not a museum set up of antiquities. Plus, take a walk down Summit street and to the Cathedral across the street. Plan a half day for this adventure. The homes nearby the Hill house will take a good 2 hour walk. For the history and architecture buff, this visit is a must if you live in St. Paul.

A must see if you're a history buff like me! The 75-minute tour was very informative and makes you hungry for more detail. The guide was entertaining, made history fun for all ages. The mansion is massive and impressive, that's just the least of it.

Very very interesting history! We did the nooks and crannies tour and got to see a lot more than you would with the average tour and it was definitely worth it. The architecture and beauty of this place was astounding.
