GMD's exhibitions explore design, designers, and design thinking. Study of GMD’s unique collection of apparel, decorative arts, graphic design, furniture, and textiles is available to students, faculty, and researchers by appointment.
McNeal Hall (1985 Buford Ave, St. Paul campus) contains Gallery 241, the Collection Research Center, and the administrative office.
Gallery 241 is open:
Tues–Fri 11 am-5 pm,
Sat-Sun 1:30-4:30 pm;
closed Mondays and University holidays.
HGA Gallery, Rapson Hall (80 Church St., Minneapolis campus) is open:
Mon-Thurs 9am-9pm;
Fri 9am-6pm,
Sat-Sun 1pm-5 pm; closed University holidays.
