By far, this state takes the longest to process an application for a license. It's been over a month since I applied for my license, but they haven't even gotten to my application yet. MN, you can do better than that!

Rude indeed. Whoever is working the phones sounds as if they don't like their job and are irritated for having to answer questions. When seeking a quote, I was simply told by the commerce employee to just give the insurance company any information they asked for even though my concern was that I might be giving private non entitled or non essential information which they will use to discriminate and quote you a high price for insurance. Commerce employee handling calls from concerned insureds, are evasive to tell you which Minnesota statutes can help . So, I will. Minnesota Statutes 59A-79A. Auto is 65B/70A. Today, May 19th I phoned the department asking the status of my complaint. This Susan McGee was the department employee working my complaint. She had been avoiding my calls, not returning them, and after more than 30 days from the date my complaint was filed, all she could say was that she was waiting for the insurance company who was the subject of the complaint, to call her back ? Who sits around waiting for a phone call really ? This Susan McGee does not do her job and she slammed the phone down on me when pressed for an explanation as to why she was just sitting on her ass waiting for a phone call ? Give me a break !! She will be reported !
