Happened to be in town with my shotgun so I thought I’d check this place out. First off, the setting is perfect, staff is great, clubhouse is nice. I wanted to buy a shirt and give this place 5 stars, but the beauty of the landscape is ruined by the obscene amount of shotgun hulls littering the grounds and in the water. I’ve shot sporting clays all over the world, and this place is by far the trashiest in terms of shotgun trash. Could easily be a 5 Star place with just a little better effort to keep the grounds clean and respect the environment.

5 different sporting clay courses, I have shot all. Stations are very dirty with empty shell casings laying everywhere that never get picked up. Also there is usually one or two stations on each course that have issues with the traps not throwing and or remotes not working so you are unable to shoot the station according to the scorecard. Food was very good though.

Great place for Trap shooting. Went with a friend and absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend eating at their restaurant as well. ProTip: Get their Elk Burger, Melts in your mouth and is built to please. Come back to this review and thank me after you ate it.

Don’t listen to any of the negative reviews, those people already had their mind set on how their experience was before the even walked through the doors. MHHC is one of the best places in the southwest area for recreation and food. The trap shooting and the sporting clay stations are amazing and offer tons of fun and challenges. Triggers restaurant is a great restaurant with exceptional food and service. The Sunday brunch is to die for and for the price pretty hard to beat in my opinion. The whole atmosphere here is fun and welcoming
