My wife and I eat at Indian restaurants fairly often, usually in Seattle or other large cities.  But here in Cortez Colorado, we had the best Indian food we've had in years.   Everything our group of five had was excellent.  Most of the dishes have a pretty good spicy hot kick to them, but they weren't impossibly fiery (unlike another South Indian restaurant we've been to).  There are some options for those who don't like the hot stuff. The service was also exceptional.

We walked into Mirch Masala and were quickly attended. We received our menus and it was hard to order since everything sounded so good! The food came along with our drinks. The food was exceptionally good, especially for being in a small town like Cortez. Food was not too mild, but not over the top spicy. Waitress even held the door on our way out. 10/10 would eat again!

As a picky Indian eater, I don't usually like Indian restaurants. However, Mirch Masala had amazing food with wonderful service. It had an authentic Indian taste, and I loved it!

I love Mirch Masala.  The food is fantastic, they are so warm and welcoming and they are working hard to please the customer.  I’m so glad they are an option.
