Missouri is so "welcoming" toward people of color that the NAACP just sent out a travel advisory regarding travel within the state. 
People of color are advised to be extremely careful while travel through Missouri and to be sure to have bail money available in case you are arrested.

Fairly clean restrooms. The welcome center part is very nice. Better hours would be nice.

We stopped here to get information on the Ozarks. The place is extremely clean and the employees seem to know everything there is to know about the state.

Very clean area/place... tourist area inside building with helping staff, nice sized parking lot, and security on premises. Nice place to get info, use bathroom or just to relax for a minute

The people at this welcome center were friendly and knowledgeable. They have been able to help me with questions about local information or attractions. I have gone to them on several occasions for assistance in finding possible locations to take guests based upon the demographic of my guests (age, group size, etc.) and what is available during the season of the visit. Also, they have several printed materials and coupons available for you to take and use. Check this place out prior to continuing your journey in state!
