Our staff members are certified as Sales Professionals by Jewelers of America and are active members of the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO). Owner Newt Mitchell and staff regularly travel to Antwerp, Belgium to hand select diamonds for Mitchell’s Jewelry customers. We feature the engagement and wedding collections of Tacori, Verragio, Scott Kay, Elma Gil, and Benchmark. We offer Computer Aided Design (CAD) which enables us to work with you like never before to custom design the ring of your dreams. Truly, your heart’s desire can be satisfied at Mitchell’s Jewelry.

Mitchell’s Jewelry is amazing!!! The entire staff is so kind and helpful. Their ideas and designs are cutting edge and they use a CAD system to show you exactly what your ring will look like. The results are phenomenal and I could not be happier with my new ring. It is simply breathtaking!! I am so happy I chose them and I highly recommend you do too!!!

If I have any jewelry needs, I always go to Mitchell's Jewelry in Norman.  I've bought items, I've had jewelry cleaned, I've had items repaired, I've had appraisals done.  After my parents passed away, I've even sold broken jewelry my mom had for scrap value. Their sales staff is friendly, professional and most importantly, laid back.  I've never been pressured to buy something which I greatly appreciate.   The store itself is lovely, inside and out.  And this year, Mitchell's gave Norman Public School employees a $50.00 gift card to express their support of educators. I LOVED spending that gift card. I think anyone who shops at Mitchell's will be as happy with their experience as I've always been with mine.

In September, 2017 my younger sister passed away after fighting an 18 month battle with breast cancer. As the holidays drew near, I thought how sad that my nieces and granddaughters really had not had the chance to really know not only their Auntie but their great-great-grandmother and their great-grandmother. So I sat down and wrote a note about the strength, intelligence, creativity, courage of these three women. As I began to go through some things, I found some jewelry which had stones from not only these three women but some of my own. I immediately thought of Newt Mitchell who 25 years ago designed my husband's band and my wedding ring.  I called Mitchell's Jewelry from Texas and made an appointment to talk about some designs. Ryan Cannon just happened to be in the store that day. I explained what I wanted to do - make 7 necklaces for the 7 Ray women from the family stones. I thought oh I don't know he's so young...does he get what I'm trying to do. Let me tell you,  Ryan has the ability to not only see what you are trying to do but to also bring the story into the jewelry .  We were in touch over the next few weeks, and it was evident that he was committed to bringing to life a bit of the Ray family story. I turned all creative power over to him. The results were so special that I had tears in my eyes. They were each different yet all encapsulated the very essence of our family. I kept saying oh my gosh this looks just like my niece or my granddaughter. Due to Ryan's creativity and commitment to help keep alive the family spirit through his designs,  I am hoping that this will also help keep the stories alive long after I am gone. Thank you Mitchell's Jewelry and Ryan Cannon!!

Highly recommend.
Beautiful upscale jewelry store, includes jewelry from all price ranges. Very clean and well organized. Lori helped me pick out a gift, she was polite, respectful, and definitely knew what I had in mind when I explained what I was looking for.
I went back a second time, this time Jessica helped me with a different purchase. As I said before, everyone there is very patient and very helpful! 
 Very relaxed, friendly, and helpful.

I can’t say enough about how great it was to work with Mitchell’s. I came in looking for an engagement ring, knowing very little about the process. They were extremely helpful the entire way. They helped me design a custom ring, making sure I loved the end result, while staying within my budget. They are very easy to work with. Never pushy. Never feeling like they’re selling you something. Just knowledgeable professionals who aim to make sure that you love the end result.
