This place has a really great selection and because of this is one of the best independent comic book shops in town. There are always really nice looking Silver Age comics to choose from. The owner however will not go down a penny on the asking price for back issues (although once a year he offers a 'sale' during free comic book day. His premium back issues are typically of high quality and the prices reflect this.  I have only known of shops where you develop a rapport with the shopkeeper and s/he will knock a few bucks off a purchase if asked.  I stopped patronizing this store because of this. I really prefer to buy local but can save A LOT of money buying the same issues online.  He also is a talker and can trap you in to a lengthy conversation when all you wanted to do was run in and out. So if you have the extra cash to drop here go for it!

The best comic shop in STL. Old school style. Spent my childhood coming to Mo's All American once a week.

I found this shop while travelling from Chicago to St. Louis.  After doing a tour of other local comic shops, this was clearly the best.  Not just the only spot to get back issues (real back issues...you know, from before 4 months ago), but a real selection of Silver Age Marvel and DC.  Helpful straightforward staff to boot.
