Stopped in for the first time today and had a great experience.  The dinner rush was quite busy, so the food and drinks took a little longer than one would expect; however, I very much appreciated the check-ins by the host. She actually was the one who took our order because of how busy they were!  Not necessarily a bad thing but I can tell it was one one of those all hands on deck situations.  I was also waited on by what I can only assume were the owners or maybe managers of the place? Needless to say, everyone there was working as a team to make sure every customer was taken care of! You love to see it.  Cocktails were delicious, and the chicken thighs were very good! Really loved the sauce it came with.  What I loved most about this place was the vibe. And that's just it, this place is  A VIBE. Good energy, friendly staff, clean and tidy establishment.  Great place for a date night or dinner! Will be back soon!

What an excellent dinning experience! I felt the exact description on their website throughout our first time there. Staff were kind, attentive, and welcoming. We brought our baby in with us and everyone was very accommodating, and she enjoyed the scenery of the open kitchen. Menu items are well thought out and seasonal. It’s clear a lot of love was put into the creation of the menu, atmosphere, and desired experience for customers.

What a hidden gem!  Well probably not so hidden but it was our first time here and wow!!  Drinks were true craft cocktails with fine liquors and the flatbread was the best I have had locally.  This is what people usually travel to the city to enjoy and it's here in our own backyard!

Wonderful experience. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The host paired up are wines with our food and it made for such a awesome dinners g experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

While the atmosphere is very cute, this restaurant serves very small portions that are overpriced and leave you hungry for more. Pictured was their only vegan option for the day- which was $13. I also had the bottomless mimosas, which were $35- more than I have paid even in the city.  If you're willing to pay for vibes, then this place might be worth it. If you're trying to leave full and satisfied, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

I have stopped by here a few times, but I need to do so more often.  Today, I took my dog for a walk in East Dundee and was feeling a bit hungry. I did not want a big burger or any big food, so I stopped by the Mockingbird with my dog.  The service was excellent, they were very friendly toward my dog we sat outside and myself. I had the Arugula salad and Crab Cakes. Both were very good. The icing on the cake was the cocktail: The Drunken Parrot. On a nice summer day, with people passing by on the bike path, it was the perfect cocktail to sip while noshing on good food and enjoying the weather.  It's rather high-end in terms of price, but it's also very high quality. For people who have just moved out of the city but in search of high-quality cocktails, it's a welcome place. And for those of us who have been here many years and view Buona Beef as the ultimate in Al Fresco dining, it's worth the stretch for an occasional treat.  [Edited to add] The host staff and wait staff were very helpful and friendly.  They really made my day with how nice and accommodating they were.

Our favorite restaurant and bar to walk to in the area! Cocktails are always amazing, so is the staff. Bartenders are very knowledgeable. Have never been disappointed with the food either.  If you’re an old fashioned person I highly suggest the build-your-own with the maple syrup and tobacco bitters!

I went here for the first time with my mother in law and the food and drinks were great! Very fresh and well flavored. I can’t wait to go back with my husband! Be sure to try the white squirrel and the mushroom pizza! It won’t disappoint. The atmosphere is also really pretty and well designed with a big outside area with fire pits.

Love this gem in East Dundee. Right at the end of downtown next to the bike trail. Perfect spot for a drink and a bite. Beautiful long bar and outside gardens.

Really nice spot in downtown E. Dundee! Inside or outside on a beautiful day. Fancy, delicious cocktails and amazing pizzas. Best little deviled eggs app. Love coming here.
