The wide range of options along with the affordable price make Mod Pizza the best place to try new pizza creations. Their in house wood fired oven makes the pizzas crisp and delicious and produces beautiful leopard spotting on the bottom. The two times I’ve been here my pizzas have always been well done and never burnt. You can definitely taste the flavors of all their sauces and fresh ingredients in each bite. The service is fast and friendly and the tables are cleaned. The atmosphere is a plus - never too noisy or dirty. Would recommend over other chains in the area for sure!
Have eaten here several times and am never disappointed. The crust is thin and always nicely cooked and love the ability add whatever toppings I like to my pizza. The ingredients are always fresh tasting and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The normal size pizza is around $10 and is the perfect size to eat in one sitting but not feel absolutely stuffed.
Came in for a first time MOD experience and had some pleasant surprises. I ordered a Caesar salad and jasper pizza, also was able to sample the Italian salad and a mad dog pizza. I added some peppers to mine. Let's start with the positives: food was prepared quickly and the gentleman making it seemed to know exactly what he was doing. When I saw the discs of dough I had my questions about how it would taste but I was happily surprised and it tasted very good. Toppings were well proportioned to cook with the dough which was also done well. The salads I had not much hope for since salads in pizzeria s are not known to be very good, but these were. Ingredients were fresh and what went on top of the lettuce was a good portion. I was surprised at how thin the dressing was, but flavorful and enough for the salad we ordered minis. I also tried the no name cake and think of a ding dong that actually tastes good. The pizza crust was crispy and thin, done perfectly. The sauce was light and flavorful. Overall I understand the good feelings the establishments garners. The customization is where the nifty part is and I saw a lot of possibilities behind the counter. Just about everything looked inviting. Plenty of seating and when I got there no other customer was there. The staff was a mixed bag. The person waiting on me seemed very annoyed I was there and didn't respond when I mentioned it was my first time there. No recommendations or explanations. I didn't get cups when I sat down so I grabbed some of the free water cups to fill. No lids for me, I suppose. I suppose maybe you have to ask for cups after ordering and paying but this seems like the sort of little thing that doesn't make me want to go back. The gentleman who made the pizza called and did say thank you for coming and I hope you enjoy the pizza, which was an extra star. Being acknowledged goes a long way for me. The food was very good and I can imagine this would be a very family friendly place, especially for the fussy kid who likes different toppings. The menu isn't large and consists of pizza and salad, just very customisable. Drinks are typical Coke fare with the addition of raspberry lemonade good, lemonade, iced tea and some pear type iced tea that I failed to try. I may try again to see if I can marry the food and service but not a ruined experience but would have liked to be handed some cups when paying and maybe a "order any pizza and everything here can be added to it! There are finishing sauces as well and maybe try a XXXX, my favorite pizza."
Love being able to make my pizza just the way I want it and it's cooked in less than 5 minutes. Love all the different choices for toppings and sauces. Friendly wait staff. Parking: Big parking lot in front of MOD. Wheelchair accessibility: One handicap spot in front of the building with van access. Ramp to get into the establishment with double swinging doors.
What a great place! Definitely a spot that over delivers on what they do! The food is perfect, great service and atmosphere! Came here to take my wife on a small date along with some mini-golf and was pleasantly surprised how friendly the staff was and how they let you make unlimited topping personal pizzas for a great price! We bought one personal pizza and breadsticks the first time we went and was FRESH! The second time we went we ordered two personal pizzas and was perfect as well! We will definitely be coming back! A filling meal for 2 is roughly $20-27 altogether depending on what you get! I wish I would've found this place sooner! Great Job! P.S. I went a little overboard on the toppings cause I have no self control, but you can see my wife's and either way you like it, both were amazing!
I enjoyed the Super Shrooms pizza. I like rosemary but wasn't crazy about it on this dish. The beautiful thing is you can customize at MOD. I asked for this minus the sausage and with a cauliflower crust. I'm going to tweak the herb next time. I'd go back for another.Food: 5/5
I had a fantastic experience here today. I beleive the the persons name is Manny. He has a kind soul. I appreciate how respectful he is towards my food choices and how he answered any questions I had and made my pizza so damn good. Thank you Manny!! #veganpizza
First time. Not bad at all. Good pizza lots of toppings to choose from.
Quality of product is good and customer service is decent. They move a bit slow but the pizza is worth the wait. Last visit there was a family with children running around everywhere so atmosphere is a bit iffy.Food: 4/5
It had been a while since we had been to Mod Pizza. So, we were really looking forward to it. Our 10yo daughter pleaded with us to get the MegaDough, eventually we caved. We all enjoyed our custom pizzas. This was our first visit to the Temple Reading location. The staff was friendly without any hint of hesitation when I kept piling on more toppings. We will be glad to return!
