It is a beautiful building with attention to detail. The river views are exquisite and they go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant experience, not taking gambling into consideration. The shopping options are great and the mall is picturesque. Dining options are plentiful and there is something to suit every taste. Even on the casino floor, the details are in place from the overhangs and many different rock walls to the surprisingly well maintained carpeting. The employees seem to enjoy what they do, with the exception of the cleaning crew. The gambling is at your own risk and i don't know about the payouts, bit everything else is gorgeous.

Saw a show, had some food and drink, watched my VIP friend gamble for a few hours.  Better overall feel to the location than Vegas or Atlantic city.  It was all an entertaining evening.  Because of my buddy we were able to take advantage of various perks so the review is skewed with that in mind.  As a drop in visitor my experience would not have been as good but probably still a 4 star rating.

Beautiful resort/hotel. Impressed before I even walk in.  The Valet parking attendant was so friendly & accommodating. VIP check in was "class " ! 
Our host Paula was lovely & organized everything for us.( many thanks to Paula for making our stay EXTRA special) The atmosphere throughout the hotel was breathtaking. The waterfalls were extremely peaceful. I loved the planetarium in the VIP lounge & VISTA lounge. At the VISTA lounge enjoy an Almond Joy Martini.

The reason why I give the casino 3 stars is because I like to play poker and the poker room is for lack of a better term it sucks. There are no bathrooms during a Windows in fact the closest bathroom is probably 50 yards away or even more. It's nice casino and they have a lot of good concerts and shows comedians. You can go out there to eat and you can shop as well as go to or free Club and dance away for free. I say if you like to play Slots and other games besides poker and go to Mohegan Sun you'll have a great time but if you like to play poker go to the other casino right down the road Foxwoods

Though it's only the second casino I've ever been too. I find the staff very attentive and polite. I like the bars especially the bow and arrow bar. It's a nice set up. A simple uncomplicated drive from new haven.
