My husband had the Philly Cheese steak and I had the club sandwich. Both were delicious and they have a large selection of pie too - we tried apple and coconut cream and they were both good! The homemade bread is flaky and buttery and was excellent. This is a down home local place and you can tell it's a community staple. Great and friendly service and great prices too.... we'll be back!

Great little hidden cafe off the main drag. Don't expect trendy or upscale furnishings but do expect good comfort food and a friendly staff. If you miss the home cooked breakfast, be sure to order the daily lunch special. I chose the fabulous pot roast over rice, okra, and spicy green beans with homemade rolls and cornbread. It was delicious. 4 stars because they ran out of the special.

I live in Houston and every time we come though it's a must to stop here for awesome home cooking... There was 12 with us tonight and all git something different and everything was amazing as always!

This place freaking rocks!!!!! I could eat here everyday! Amazing good ol home cookin!!!! This is a must go. Atmosphere is rustic and not real cozy, but food is it!!!!
