Nice little park to see Monarch's at the right time of the year. the have informative displays and docents (on the weekends) to relay information about monarchs that inhabit the sanctuary. Definitely a place to be quiet and appreciate the coastal beauty in the trees. There's out on the main street by the Adult Ed center and a short trail to the sanctuary. Nice place to come for a quiet 30 min visit if you're hanging out in Pacific Grove.

Beautiful, peaceful, lots of interesting facts scattered around the park. Not just butterflies - deer and cats! Good for the soul.

We were a little early for the peak butterfly season. Still manage to see a few large clusters in trees. A truly awesome sight, especially for people from northern states.

I have not been here in many years, but have never forgotten the unbelievable site of all those butterflies. AT first the trese just looked like they were covered with brown leaves, and then the branches started MOVING. You will never regret going here
