It may be because we are from out of town, it may be because we are just used to our local Mongolian, or it may be because this restaurant was unfortunately lacking. Our son loves Mongolian BBQ, so naturally, on vacation, we had to locate and have some for dinner. The staff was kind, and courteous. However, the options were lacking in regards to vegetables. Half the sauces were empty at the end of the line, and I was unable to get good a good flavor profile for my son or my dish. The gentlemen cooking on the grill seemed nonchalant and careless with the food as they went around the grill. My son, looked at me and said ‘mom! They’re losing all my vegetables!’ That was the hardest moment for me as a mom. Unfortunately, we had a less than excellent experience here. The food was bland, the egg drop soup wasn’t what I was under the impression it would be. It, of course, could have just been an off night for them. Perhaps the end of the evening, we will never know.
The staff is awesome and the food is so good! I’ve been coming her for years and it’s always great. It’s a great portion for you money too. I’m gluten free and I get the rice noodles and sweet and sour sauce, garlic, oil, etc. The dark sauces are not gluten free. I always ask them to clean the grill before they put mine on and they kindly do it! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options…rice noodles
So disappointing. Got take out. Price was pretty high over 30 dollars for two small take out containers and one was only half full. They did not give us rice or anything. My sister told me later you have to demand for it or they won't give it to you. I understand inflation is bad and prices have to be raised, but at least give all the meal if your prices are going to be high. We don't get to go out often this was for my birthday because of high prices, but we did come and tried to support your establishment. Don't rip people off.
Snow peas on the line were mostly spoiled with black slimy spots on them. The front Hostess was rude when I went to pay and found prices for a medium bowl were $6.50 more than the online menu photo and then they charged me additional to use a credit card because I wasn't carrying enough cash to pay that much more than advertised. Then she so graciously mentioned I didn't need to tip her after I complained about the price difference between what is shown on the website and what is charged in the store. We have eaten here every time we come to see our child at MSU but never will again.
Ive been going here sense I was 5 and over 20 years later I still love coming here. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff friendly. A must try!
Ecolab employees that have inspected this place won't even eat here. Says it's one of the grossest places in Bozeman. Not great quality of food. Plus the prices are absolutely outrageous for such unbelievably poor quality of food. Soup and rice was $16!!
Even with how short staffed they have been they still do a great job. Service is fast and always kind. Anyone who claims otherwise is too whiney and should just eat at home.
This is a great Mongolian BBQ. They offer an extensive selection of vegetables and sauces. The noodles are thick and homemade. The food was extremely flavorful. The portion size is huge. They also clean the grill after every use. They are also considerate and offer to add more sauce. I love the lemon ginger oil sauce. It is so good. When I lived in Bozeman, I would eat here all of the time. Now that I live far away, when I stopped in the area to visit recently, my experience has been amazing yet again. The next time I’m here I’ll stop by.
Been coming here for years and I haven’t been in awhile and I was so dissatisfied! The guy going around the grill poured so much water into my meal; what was the point of getting to choose my own flavors just to have soggy watery noodles… You have a sign that states anything over 2 inches of food over your bowl will be put into a separate bowl and charged twice. Obviously you can’t read a tape measurer because it was just over flush with the top of the bowl and less than one large bowl when cooked. It’s apparent why we were the only ones in the place on a Saturday night now, when it used to be packed daily, a few years ago…
Awesome pho at one of Bozeman’s oldest and greatest sleeper hits. I was under the impression that the only pho around this area was in Belgrade but I was wrong!! $13 or $14 for this massive take out order of pho. Super generous topping and meat. I got it to go and the broth was super hot and they packaged everything really nicely. Had to get a giant mixing bowl out because the portion was so big. I love you Mongolian BBQ! New Sunday night Pho spot. Sriracha not included in to go order but you can probably ask
