I enjoyed every minute of my stay! The rooms were well appointed, and the bed was superb. I love the big southern style covered porches with ceiling fans. Every morning I went downstairs for the best cup of coffee and then walked the grounds and smelled the fresh air. It was heaven! I took a yoga class and then headed to the Spa where I got the best facial in the world. I have never been so relaxed. This is a great place to make memories with family and friends. The food did not disappoint. I have shared some photos.

The entire experience was unforgettable. The hotel was fully booked but you would never know that because that make it feel so spacious and free. Most of the workers, not all, were very easy to have conversations with, and you're able to feel like a family for the stay. Bob, the greatest golf cart driver of all time, was great and our favorite worker. You really feel welcome, and you know they put the guest first. No one pushes you around anywhere and they're happy to go at your pace. I will be visiting again.

Absolutely loved our short stay at the Montage! Practically brand new with top of the line, classically decorated accommodations/rooms/bathrooms/bedding, and acres and acres of land/space to walk and bike and run around the property and the various lodging types (cottages, villas, and the main lodge hotel). The Octagon bar in the main hotel has fantastic live music in evenings and during weekend brunches, along with great food (same menu as the Jassamin restaurant connected to it in the main floor). Highly recommend the brunch buffet - way better than average brunch/lunch food, a bit expensive but very good. We also at in one of the villages at Buffalo’s for brunch and loved that - the Biscuit Bar buffet is filling and wonderful, and cheap at $25 compared to the Octagon buffet in the main hotel. We did a 2 hour guided kayak tour with Wayne which was a highlight, and did a semi private skeet shooting session on the property which was great - though they could have been more efficient with instruction to allow us to shoot more per person. Beautiful grounds, super nice staff. Activities are expensive but really fun!

I came here for a wedding and was blown away by how scenic everything was. The estate is situated by a river, includes a lagoon and is lined with beautiful big trees. At night there are fire pits around which you can sit to enjoy the stars above. The service and the amenities are top notch but the best surprise was finding that the shower in the cottage doubled as a steam room. I'd highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a romantic or relaxing getaway.

It's a beautiful property with a great staff. They really go above and beyond to make sure that you're comfortable and satisfied with your entire experience. Everything you need is on property or a short walk from it. There are also great activities like making s'mores in one of the fire pits. I took one star away because we had a little bit of a problem with housekeeping. I am very allergic to feathers so we asked for two foam pillows and assuming they were foam pillows I slept on them and woke up miserable my first night because they ended up bringing two feather pillows again. That aside everything else was incredible.
