Fantastic place to go trout fishing. The camping is great and you can even rent a cabin if you call early to get one reserved. Nice little store and a restaurant that serves all you can eat. The area has some beautiful scenery and there are all kinds of things to do. Couldn't want a better place fora outing with the family.

Opening day is like nothing ever experienced before. Huge 8 to 10lbs trout being caught in every part of the park. Campground was packed but was still roomy with very nice people running everything. The campground restaurant was very nice. Feeding a lot of people for opening day was no small task. Love going in the fall too it's so beautiful there. With many other parks available no others bring to the table what is available at Montauk.

Gone here a couple time with our camper and it's campgrounds are very nice. Some sand on them because of the last flood but it better now. Very nice clean bathrooms, showerhouses, and lodge. Love trout fishing down there and it's easy for waders. Love going to the hatcheries. Thoughs are cool. Great park. Going back soon.

Visited the naturalist office. Steve Boss was great. His presentation of a food chain was really good. Then he showed us the snakes and spiders and videos of rescuing baby bears. Really enjoyed our visit.
