One of our family favorite state parks! I love that the primary tree populations in the park is cedar or pine. We had a blast on our last visit. Definitely returning again this year!

Had I experienced more of the park I'd probably rate it five stars. We were here to camp with friends and used a family site. Everything worked as expected at the campsite. Folks were friendly all around. The park store had a ton of cool stuff I didn't expect. Trails were nice; we hiked a little. River access was plentiful and easy. Our only beef was the daily maintenance of the women's restroom at around 7 or 8 am. Everyday. For 30-40 minutes. Seemed excessive and poorly timed. I'd totally go back though. :)

One of my favorite state parks. Paved trail is really nice to walk or bicycle. Mudlick trail is really nice and the buildings on it are cool. Slept at one while backpacking once. Firetower trail is a waste because there is no view at the top but makes for an easy way down if you take it from mudlick trail. Camp sites and store are really well maintained.
