Friendly, knowledgeable hosts. Melody and Joe have added lots of improvements to the RV park. The house has been completely remodeled and is a nice getaway especially for the colder months if you're not up to camping. You can reserve the entire house or just a room. The common areas are really comfy, clean and the full size kitchen is a great feature for long or short stays. Walks, hikes, skiing, mountain biking are in easy reach. Quiet respite for the Taos Wool Festival if you don't feel like staying in Taos or paying Taos prices. Gorgeous winding roads on the Enchanted Circle Drive. We also discovered an old weaving school and mill at Mora Valley Spinning Mill. Have a cuppa while you browse handmade rugs and other textiles. We had an impromptu tour of the mill with last century equipment that was equally fascinating. Stay for a night or a week near the national forest and enjoy the beauty of New Mexico.

Great spot with pretty views. Nice facilities. Good shower with proper heat! Only thing keeping from 5 stars is the lack of privacy between sites, which were very close together. It looks like they are growing some trees that will help with this in the future.

Loved this small park! New owners were very friendly and evidently making a few changes. Park had both RV spots as well as plenty of tent sites. You have a perfect view of Angel Fire mountain! Just a very quiet, relaxing place to stay with great temperatures!

We've stayed here 4 nights. Angel Fire is a beautiful wonderful location to camp and relax, and Monte Verde RV Park is wonderful place to call "home" while you're in Angel Fire. Whole campground is clean and well-kept. Owners are very friendly and helpful and have lots of good information to offer. Bathrooms are very clean. Water pressure is good. Propane available on site. Picnic tables and fire pits provided are nice. Thankful for good WiFi. Mountain views in every direction. Excellent pricing and we rate this campground 5 STAR PLUS. We definitely be back!! Thanks Joe and Melody for the great camping experience!
