Love this place because it's a little primitive, quiet, not so many rules, and within 30-45 minutes to Angel Fire, Eagles Nest, and Taos. Also 5 minutes from a 9 hole, walking golf course for Steve. If you 4 wheel, you can drive right out of the camp and hit some awesome trails with fantastic views.

Mike is very friendly, which made check-in a nice experience. The campsite is generally pleasant, though run-down and right off the main road. The wifi was a bit spotty. The main drawback was the lack of hot water. When the showers are turned on, hot water flows for about ten seconds before becoming very cold. Having hot showers at the end of the day was the main reason we chose to pay for a campsite as opposed to pitching a tent elsewhere, and we were a bit disappointed.

Extremely friendly staff, great sites with shade and beautiful views, and clean facilities with hot showers. Great place to camp!
