We recently stayed at Loon Lodge for a family getaway. The cabin had the most breath taking views! This was our second stay at Loon Lodge and it was every bit as wonderful as the first visit. It is hard to explain just how beautiful the lodge is. It has everything that you could want for a family (the dishwasher is a bonus). We truly enjoyed disconnecting from our crazy lives to play games and cards. I did want to add how comfortable the beds and pillows are! You will have the most wonderful nights rest, which is important with toddlers! We hated to leave and will definitely return as soon as we can. Worth every penny!

We have stayed at these cabins two years in a row and they are wonderful. We always go during the off season because our summers are too hectic. This year we went on one of the coldest weekends of the year (it was -16 at night) but you would never know it from inside the cabins. The wood fire makes it so cozy and the scenery can't be beat. The views from the two cabins we have stayed in were phenomenal (I posted pictures to google from our most recent stay). Truly magical. They also have well marked trails right down to the lake and the little nature walk is a must do. I will say that if you go during the off season, bring groceries because Moosehead is almost a ghost town from about mid January through April. But the views and tranquility were worth having to plan our meals out every day. We brought little picnics for lunch and just drove down trails and took little nature walks all day. Can't wait to go again next year!

A winner of a stay. My family has rented different Moosehead Hills Cabins for many vacations. We especially love being able to disconnect from our everyday life and have a refreshing break. We play games (not the electronic kind), sit by the wood burning stove, and get out in the woods for hiking and walking. The views of the lake are stunning. So grateful to have found this special place where fond memories continue to be created.

We have been visiting Moosehead Lake every October for the past 15 years and we have always stayed at Moosehead Hills Cabins. The cabins are rustic and cozy but the best part is the view of the lake from the cabin. We always plan to read while we’re there, and we do, but much more time than anticipated is spent simply gazing at the gorgeous view. We like Seeboomok cabin the best because the kitchen faces the lake so while we're cooking we can appreciate the scenery. The cabins are about a 1/4 mile hike up from the lake and it's a nice walk with the dog, as is the mile loop around the property. Bill and Sally are very friendly and helpful and we look forward to many more visits to come.

Went on a snowmobile trip rented out a cabin what a beautiful place. The owners are very friendly and cabin views were great. Highly recommend
