If you like watching YouTube videos about abandoned places this is the outlet mall for you... It's actually a very nice building and used to thrive 20 years ago, but all the stores are closed. I'd love for someone (Tanger?) to revitalize it, but for now I don't know how they pay for utilities.

Mostly abandoned, but still home to the Epic@UNC training center.  Excellent training facility for UNC Health Care staff and physicians.  Also houses a Chinese restaurant in the food court and a Cuban and a Mexican restaurant in close proximity.

Although it might not look like it, this mall is still open to the public.  However, its on its last legs.  Mall has only three businesses, one of which was closed the day I came.  The food court is the only area with air conditioning, and is in a sad state of neglect.  Its a shame, too, cause this mall is pretty.  There's rumor that this mall will become a Chinatown-esque location, but last I heard, those plans have fallen through.  Whatever the future holds for this mall, something needs to be done quick.

None of the stores are occupied. There is a small food court that could be operational, but there is no one there at 10:30am.
