I know it was not an easiest project for you. 

Long story short: 
Project: roof replacement ( cedar shingle roof to slate)
Reason: water in dinning room and maid's living room
First step: make appointments, collect proposals
Second step: decision, decision, decision ...
Third step: find a good time to start the project
Then, time to start, the big project made me feel nervous - unnecessary :)
