I had a horrible experience with this attorney.  In April 2012, Attorney Mortimer argued that Habeas Corpus should be ignored when defending Daniel Chacon Alcaraz in order to gain a restraining order.  I had to report Steven Mortimer to the State Bar of California and have a complaint filed against his license.  In civil court, he again tried to enter a previous court case ruling where Habeas Corpus was ignored, as evidence refusing to acknowledge the State Bar of California's decision against him.  He lost, then tried to sue me, claiming I caused his law firm pain and suffering.  In the end, the restraining order was removed, a new won was granted on Daniel Chacon Alcaraz & Steven Mortimer.
