If you're in need of a vacation, but can't vacate, The Morton Arboretum is a lovely experience in learning the art of remembrance of nature's peace, especially with regard to how the still silence present within nature can be, even in the bustling suburbs of Chicago, available as an abundantly restful and variegated experience of some of the most beautiful natural vantage points (if not the most) in the area. Furthermore, as an aside, one may witness to the incredible beauty of untouched nature in the deeper forests on the East side, in particular. This place is my sanctuary and a home away from home; the visitor's center referenced here has an assuredly excellent and knowledgeable staff, while the baristas in the cafe are quite friendly and helpful.

Was there for the tree lights. Very nice, with fire pits along the outdoor trail and tents along the way that sell hot chocolate and warm alcoholic drinks for the adults. It was a record cold night, and this is outdoors, so make sure you are dressed for the weather. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and tickets are sold in advance online. We had a very nice time.

I went for the Morton lights. It wasn't the greatest experience. It was below zero out however there is no rescheduling or refunds. So I decided to go anyways and it was just lacking in creativity. I was bored the entire time. I was expecting an intense light show but it was more or less your normal Christmas decorations. I was upset that I had spent so much money to do something I could have done for free. They sell hot chocolate or tea, either of which you can add alcohol to, it's not that great or cheap but at least they don't check i.D's. Good news for you youngsters trying to warm up. Next time I will just go to Rosemont. I can see it all from my warm car, getting out for the petting zoo of course and it's all free. Do not pay for the medallion it is a complete waste of money.

The Illumination at Morton Arboretum was good. Hope when i went, it could snow so that the experience was better. I and my family enjoyed. The trail was good and it had trees with displaying lights. There were lights shows that were beautiful. At certain intervals they had stalls for selli g food and drinks. After that were fire place so that we warm ourselves. Overall it was good.
