Remodeling hotel but I didn't hear any noises. Room was nice and big. Could have used more pillows and better towels. Pleasant stay though. The hotel was much cheaper than staying in Canton where I was going for the Trade Days. It was about a 30 minute drive to Canton from the hotel and about a 20 minute drive to historic Dallas.

This was my favorite place to stay, it has a friendly staff, and they are very affordable and the rooms are nice and always have been very clean. Unfortunately I can't give the 4 stars I would like to give and on other occasions have given this place because it is just now quite in the halls. The time is 3:12am. At 1:15 my husband called the front desk and ask them to please stop the small children (it sounded like at least 3) to stop running and to not scream in the hall. It didn't seem like a hard request, but it took well over an hour to hear any progress. My husband and I don't have small children anymore ours are grown, but tonight Motel 6 provided a few for us...Uhhh Now it's either to early to sleep or too late we are not sure which.

The motel was clean for the most part, but I did have ants in the room I stayed in behind the moveable furniture. Worst part was the elevator was out and trying to get your luggage down the hall and then up the stairs, well I feel a couple bucks could have been taken off for the trouble. Also there is no side door access. I mean there are doors but no access to get in,so you have to constantly go through the front then down the hall to the stairwell to get up to your room. I personally wouldn't stay or recommend anyone one I know to stay there, especially if that dang elevator is still out. The staff were very friendly and courteous.

Two out of the four days we were to stay had roaches, dirty sheets, rooms not inspected for clients, smokers holding side doors open blowing smoke into hotel, pool full of dead skin cells, were just a few of the major problems we had. Not to mention a couple of code violations. By the third day we got out.

.. Horrible.. completely unsatisfied. Stay here a lot. Robbed last night. And totally unhelpful. Another guest was robbed yesterday. You would think that they would notify you as a precaution.. because they sure won't help you with the police investigation situation. . Then the front desk is going to say . . Well we have signs posted that we are not responsible or liable in any way. Just think twice before you decide to stay here.
