The hotel was tired but the reception guy was friendly. My room 257 was comfortable but my neighbours were having a party at 3.30am. I rang the front desk and nothing happened for 20 minutes. I rang again and they said they cannot hear anything. They couldn't have been to see. They asked me to get dressed and find the room number. It was my neighbours so easy to locate. I heard them ring the room and then ring me back. Oh joy now the noisy people knew it was me. And as a result they not only banged on my wall but kept sporadically playing bursts of music. My only consolation was that the kind gentleman on the front desk in the morning listened to me and refunded me. The finances were back in my account but it took me two days to get back on track with my journey through all 50 states.

The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the front desk person was understanding. However, I wish to point out something about the cleaning aspect of the stay. One of the things that I feel is important is to have the room cleaned. After all, that's part of what is included in the price of the room. I stayed there for four nights as I was in town doing the World of Wheels car show in Boston as a vendor. Friday night when I returned the room had been given a complete cleaning n the bed was made. Saturday when I came back from the show, the room was cleaned except for the bed was not made. Sunday, there were no towels, the bathroom wasn't cleaned and the bed was not made. I had to down to the front desk to get a full set of towels. I checked with the front desk person and told him he room had not been cleaned n there were no towels. He was a bit surprised. He showed me the cleaning schedule and it showed that my room was cleaned. I explained to him that was a false report. I was down at the front desk getting towels and letting him know that the bed was not made. He seemed a bit unsure whether to believe me. I offered to take pictures and show him if that would allow him to see for himself. He did not make any concessions as in give me a coupon for a free room or something like that, but did apologize for the room not being cleaned. I told him I would include the poor room cleaning in my review. He understood. So here it is. This problem is not unique to this location. I have encountered various degrees of this at other Motel 6's that I have stayed at that cleaning of the room tends to get skimpier as the weekend rolls on. The weekday staff clean the rooms well, but the weekend staff seem to be more lax. This needs to change the whole chain wide. We pay to have clean, comfortable room. I want it delivered at every location not one or two.

The staff at the desk got us checked in fast and out of the cold. You check out in the morning, also free complimentary coffee every morning. Rooms are cleaned by dedicated staff every day, A/C is awesome in there.

When I checked in we were not told that they had, had issues with the power during the day. Elevator was non functioning. And after about being checked in for 45min the power went out, leaving us with out power, heat, hot water for a shower or a flashlight for the room. I went outside and noticed two trees in the parking lot had up rooted and were leaning in the power line. At the time I went to the front desk to ask about the power, at no point did the person at the front ask if we'd like a refund or stay at another location for the inconvenience. Being a volunteer firefighter for 27yrsi also advised them to notify the power company of trees and to notify the other patrons that their vehicles should be moved incase the trees and wires came down on the vehicle. That also was not done. Also the hallways smelled of stale cigarette smoke and pot. Very very dissatisfied.

The best part was the same day cancellation policy, My home was without power and I didn’t want to be left in the cold or pay for a room I didn’t need. It worked out perfectly and I will be back.
