Short answer: the place is clean enough and cheap enough for someone looking for a budget overnight room. Long answer: while I was not the one to book the room or the one to make the final decision as far as where we stayed, I was glad it was at least clean enough for my standards and felt at least safe enough for us to be able to stay there. We were not intending to stay at this location but due to fatigue we decided to stay in town. It was booked the day of and I don't remember the person complaining about getting it booked or any issues with staff. If you are looking for a decent area and amenities, or are super obsessed with cleanliness or have smoke allergens, I would look elsewhere. If you want a steal of a price and a place to crash with a shower and fridge, this is a decent enough place to save some coin.

I am being generous giving one star, but I could not  leave a review without giving a rating. My experience doesn’t even deserve one star. The desk clerk Michael was the rudest person in hospitality I have ever encountered. I had an issue of being charged in error and his solution was to just say that “ he” never charged my card even though I was not implying he was responsible. He was demeaning and dismissive. He called his GM at my insistence and accused me of cursing him out and calling him a liar. Never happened. Also, the room was horrible-filthy the beds were awful and the bath tub was dirty. My mom and I couldn’t stay. We left and ended up at the Holiday Inn.

Terrible!!! The Lady at the front desk, Miss Candy, is rude... aggressive..and thinks🤔 she literally owns the place. We spent over $3000 on a weekly rate there and could not get a microwave 👎. My husband was angry. I was upset . It's 6 degrees and I have to walk back and forth to the lobby with a 4 yr old to warm up our food. Yeah, I slammed the microwave door. Yeah I raised my voice cause my husband  wanted me to have him something hot when he got off... Miss Candy lied and said her night shift manager had to break us up fighting...Really? Lady? And actually flagged us off the the premises...because I challenged her about a microwave 👎 and wasn't fake speaking to her when I warmed my food up. Worst hotel I've ever visited. 1,400 a month to be treated with no respect. It's addicts and homeless people sleeping in cars at night. Fleas from the previous guest with pets. I'm glad we are gone. Miss Candy your motel, that you manage, is the worst on the planet and you are a terrible manager! Oh yeah...did I mention the roaches??? View the pics below...

Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Front desk clerk was friendly, recommended Mexican restaurant across the parking lot. Excellent choice!

Go somewhere else. On our arrival we noticed that our bathroom wasn't very clean at all and that there was somebody else's hair on a few of the towels. Whatever, we would ask for more towels right? No big deal. Until we looked at the bed. There was mascara all over the pillows, and when we looked at the sheets there were traces of bed bugs or fleas-- the droppings look the same, and the shell of a few bugs. Nope. We could also hear someone screaming at their child from above and noticed that tons of people were SUPER loud and loitering outside. We've never requested a return so we weren't sure what to do. We finally went to the front desk and our complaint was passed off with 'Well. I don't even know what bedbugs look like and you've been in there an hour' when we asked for a refund for a room we hadn't used. We weren't in the room an hour, truthfully we were in the car for thirty minutes unsure of what to do- a mistake we will NOT make again.  We were given another room, which was MUCH better, but not the best. After seeing bedbugs in one room we weren't exactly comfortable in this one. It was much quieter on the new side of the motel and much cleaner than the last room. We now know to pay a little extra to go somewhere we KNOW will be clean. This was very surprising because we had stayed at a Motel 6 in Gatlinburg that was SO nice we decided to try this one. Next time we'll drive another hour instead of staying here.
